As business owners, let’s be real – all of us are dreaming about the same thing, free advertising! But let’s face it, most of us don’t have a ton of cash to throw around. So, here are some ideas to get your business out there without breaking the bank, no matter what industry you’re in.
6. COLLABS: Collaborations are actually what I do the most! As a photographer, I have the “magic power” of being able to create something others can use as advertisement. Pictures are essential not only for my own business, but for all others involved in the wedding industry. We get to create beautiful work together and share it as ideas to inspire and attract a specific market. This can be done in many other industries, for example if you sell bags, you can lend someone attending a party one of your bags and ask them to take pictures with it and tag you. You can do this with influencers as well, just be careful, as this can become a trap.
7. YOUR OWN BLOG: The best way to share your knowledge and incredible ideas to inspire others is through your own blog, you control the narrative and talk specifically of all those things you want others to know about you and your work. For example, I am a wedding photographer in the French Riviera, so I can write about why it is a good idea to get married there. If people are searching for tips about getting married in the French Riviera, they will find my blog post and if they love my work, they will contact me. This is a way to indirectly reach those who weren’t specifically looking for you, but will now have your work in mind.
