If your content is trying to speak to everyone, it is convincing no one!
This is one of the biggest traps when you start building visibility. You soften your message so you don’t exclude anyone. You dilute your positioning so it feels “accessible.” You try to stay safe.
But premium positioning is not built on safety; it is built on specificity!
High-end clients are not looking for someone who can serve “anyone.” They are looking for someone who clearly understands their level, their standards, their world. The more precise your positioning becomes, the more powerful your message becomes!
When your content sounds generic, you attract generic conversations. When your positioning is sharp, you attract aligned opportunities!
For a long time, I thought being inclusive in my communication was strategic. In reality, I was just avoiding commitment.
The moment I became specific about who I serve, what level I operate at, and what standards I require, the quality of conversations changed dramatically!
You cannot attract premium clients while trying to remain universally likable!
So ask yourself honestly: are you trying to be visible to everyone, or relevant to the right people?
