Being talented is not enough, and that is a hard pill to swallow!
For a long time, I genuinely believed that if I kept improving my skills, everything else would follow. Better results, better clients, better revenue. It sounded logical, it felt responsible: it felt safe.
But talent without positioning is invisible!
You can be exceptional at what you do and still struggle financially if the market does not perceive your level. Perception influences price far more than effort ever will!
Premium clients are not scanning the market looking for the “most skilled” person; they are looking for someone who feels established, aligned and operating at their level. They make decisions based on signals, reputation, environment and confidence just as much as competence.
That realization changed everything for me!
The moment I stopped focusing only on improving my craft and started upgrading my positioning, my messaging and the ecosystem around my brand, the type of client shifted dramatically. Not because I suddenly became more talented; but because I became visible at the right level!
If you feel stuck, it may not be because you are not good enough; it may be because the market cannot see your level.
Skill builds the foundation; positioning builds the leverage.
