A beautiful wedding blending traditions | Bastide de Gordes (South of France)

The south of France is one of the best choice for your big day. The region combines the sweetness of the south, where time seems to slow down, and the art of good cuisine. Y&C, a charming couple, chose this harmony to celebrate their union, at the top of the Luberon valley at the “Bastide de Gordes”. This place perfectly reflects the charm of the South of France and its tumultuous history.

Their ceremony took place outdoors, offering their guests and themselves a stunning view of beautiful Provence. Their union was marked by a sweet blend of traditions respecting the culture of the groom and the bride, creating a poetic and enchanting harmony. They went from the “Sofreh Aghd” (an Iranian tradition for the exchange of vows) to exchanging vows in front of a master of ceremonies.

Then, the bride and groom and their guests moved a few steps down for the cocktail hour. A simple and friendly moment under the bright sun. To entertain the reception, a discreetly positioned portrait artist was drawing each guest.

For the evening, they returned to the ceremony venue transformed into a dinner garden with a long table elegantly decorated with touches of color, in perfect harmony with the landscape. To illuminate the dinner in such a picturesque place, what could be better than small rustic and elegant lanterns.

Finally, once satisfied with the delicious food, everyone stared to light up the dance floor and properly close this wonderful event.
