TIP OF THE WEEK #8: HOW TO KILL YOUR BUSINESS IN 5 STEPS

Ok let’s be honest. As clients, there are many things that make us run away. As business owners, we all know how important it is to attract and retain clients. Still, there are people that make these huge mistakes that make us wonder how they are even running a business. Today the business world is so competitive, having a good product is not enough. I’ve put together the top 5 reasons why we may lose clients in this ironic episode.
Giving your customer a bad Client Experience: sometimes even though the product or service is good, if the experience is bad, for sure the clients will go find another business to fulfill their needs.
Not having clear Terms and Conditions: If you don’t take the time to check the conditions with your clients, the clients will be badly surprised and won’t trust you anymore.
Hidden Fees: If you are not transparent, clients will feel overwhelmed because they come to you with a specific budget and having to add things they thought were included, in the end will just make them feel trapped.
Running away from Conflict: Having unsatisfied clients is part of the deal, part of our job is to always reply to clients, accept mistakes, take responsibility and find a solution.
Losing the trust of your community by doing the opposite of what you said: I know we change our minds, but we need to stop and think before expressing a strong opinion. Once you said it it’s difficult to take it back.
