Yes I’m absolutely objective talking about this topic, of course! I mean, honestly, I’ve been traveling all over the world for 10 years as a wedding photographer, I’ve seen so many incredible places, venues, landscapes, and I can tell you something objectively, our French Riviera is just amazing. It’s not a mythe, it’s not a trend or a legend. Getting married on the French Riviera is magic… Still doubting? Here 10 reasons why!

1//The weather

Of course. I mean, you know the legend, the French Riviera, it’s 300 days of sun per year! Actually it’s not that much a legend, I can confirm! I have many anecdotes like the rest of the planet crying under the rain and the grey sky, and me walking with my dogs in the middle of January with just a jacket.

Getting married on the French Riviera is also putting all the chance to your side to have an incredible sun for your wedding days! And as a wedding photographer, I cannot complain about that!

2//The background & the view

Every time I driving throughout the road, I take a moment to enjoy and be grateful to live in a place with this incredible background. The Mediterranean Sea is definitely unique, and wherever you look, you see this blue without any limit. When the sky and the sea mix on the same color, the magic happens!

3//The French savoir-faire & elegance (Let’s work with French vendors!)

I have been having the chase to travel all over the world, and I can confirm one fact; The French savoir-faire is unique. The service, the attention to details, the obsession to anticipate the client’s desires… The French luxury customer service is amazing. Travelling in Palaces in France is an incredible experience. So picture your wedding here!

4//The French food

The reputation is done. And what would be more refined than served to your guests all the Cuisine Française worldwide recognized? Foie Gras, Caviar, Delicious and Fresh Fish and of course, Champagne!

5//The concept of destination wedding

I think what I prefer about destination wedding is more than the wedding itself. It’s also about the entire experience. Let’s discover the Côte D’azur to your guests, let’s enjoy this incredible background for more than your event, but for a beautiful gift for your friends and family.

6//The welcome dinner and brunch under the sun

You, coming with your guests, to the other side of the world, for a welcome dinner, a wedding day, and a brunch! Also maybe a pool day, a trip with a shuttle around the Côte d’Azur… Don’t focus on one day, it’s a journey with the ones you love the most, for an experience you will never forget. Extend and create a program they will remember forever.

7// The colors & the light

As a wedding photographer, I have of course to talk about the light and the colors. And yes, we don’t have the same sun than in the rest of the world. And addition to that, we have an unique blue color, from the sea and the sky dancing together. We don’t call it the « Côte d’Azur » without a reason!

8// The incredibles venues

I think, first at all, it’s one of the reason why I moved on the French Riviera. The unique venues you can find here, with all the history behind, the architecture, the use gardens, and of course, the view on the sea!

I’ve never seen any place in the world where you can have this perfect mix, and a luxury service like France knows doing it!

9// The French accent

The first times I traveled, I did my best to have the perfect English (or more American actually) accent possible. After a few seconds, all the people I talked too of course recognize my accent, and pleased me to keep it! Since that, I play with it (and I’m sometimes a bit lazy I admit), and I understood how cute our accent looks (for us it’s ugly! Isn’t it funny!).
