Three lengths, for a caption, a sidebar or an article. The credit line is the thing that gets written wrong the most: copy it exactly.
Maddy Christina is a luxury wedding photographer working across France, Italy and the Middle East, with a fashion eye and a documentary instinct.
Maddy Christina has photographed weddings since 2011, from a first studio built in her living room in north-eastern France to agencies in Luxembourg, Monaco, Dubai and Lake Como. Her eye comes from fashion, her method from documentary: she photographs what actually happens, and frames it the way a magazine would. Everything is built around one obsession, legacy. Pictures you will be proud of today and in twenty years.
Maddy Christina is a luxury wedding photographer working across France, Italy and the Middle East. She started in 2011, with a first studio built in the living room of a house in north-eastern France, stickers on the windows. Barcelona followed in 2013, then a first destination wedding in New York in 2014, and studios in Luxembourg, Monaco, Dubai and Lake Como. Fifteen years later, she photographs weddings across three continents. Her eye comes from fashion. Beauty is not a bonus in her images, it is the subject: the fall of a dress, the quality of a light, the exact second a gesture becomes elegant. And her method stays documentary. She photographs what actually happens on the day, the moments no one directs, then gives them the treatment of an editorial page. Behind all of it sits one obsession: legacy. “The most incredible gift you can give to the next generation is actually the story of the family.” She works towards a precise image of the future, her couples ten years from now, surrounded by their children, turning the pages of their album. It is why she asks to be a partner of the wedding rather than a supplier. Striking today, priceless in twenty years.
